Peeps in the bed

We have had so much fun that past few days. We have been on long walks, watched good movies, and slept in. The girls love to get in the tub at the end of the day and Jeremy and I have been taking fun pictures. I worked on Monday and Tuesday but we have been able to spend time together the last two days. Its so wonderful to just be home.

Ava had been leaking through her diaper this week, it happened four nights in a row. So I have been trying to get up and change the girls if they wake up at night. On Wednesday, Ava and Emma were both gibber jabbering at 5:30 am. So I changed their diapers, gave them big kisses, wrapped them back up and put them back to bed. They were both asleep instantly. Usually, we are up at 6:30-7 am. So I figured we would be up soon anyway. Well, when I rolled over to look at the clock it was 8:30, and they were just starting to talk. It was wonderful. Our schedule was a little off that day. But it was so nice.

We had quite the trek today. Jeremy and I had planned to walk our errands around down to our financial planner. His office is probably 3.5-4 miles away. I usually load the girls up and drive down to the river and we walk along the river until we are in that area. Jeremy thought we could walk down 13th street. I didn't think it would be too bad. And it wasn't. There was just a lot of traffic. It took us an hour to get down there, and then we stopped at Grandpa Ralph's office. He has sippy cups there, so we took a water break. We decided to walk back along the river and about half way home we stopped to feed the girls. It was a two hour walk that took three hours. But it was very nice to get outside. Ava does really well in the stroller and Emma usually looses it about 20 minutes away from home. But we made it. I think the girls even got a little sun on their arms.
Ava and Emma are TV junkies. Jeremy and I moved our TV down stairs and usually we don't watch much. But we borrowed some movies from Jeremy's parents and lately we have watched Lord of the Rings, Men in Black, and Liar liar, and Regarding Henry. Anyway, its like the TV memorizes them. They could sit and play with their toys for an hour. We can't have the TV when we are feeding them either. They will do anything to look at see whats going on.

I finally got Ava to smile for the camera.
