Daddy's lips

We have had a lot of mouth stuff going on this week. The girls said their first words, they cut their first teeth, and everybody keeps mentioning how much the girls lips are like Jeremy's. So to show this resemblance I thought these pictures would do.

Swimming, swimming...

We went to the Aquatic Center with Andrew and Brei this week. We had a lot of fun. Ava and Emma had fun for the most part. Ava loves the water, I think Emma is sensitive to the noises at the pool. But it was nice to get out and do something different. Jeremy is holding Emma above and she is crying with her mouth shut. Her new thing is to chew on her bottom lip. Jeremy and Ava are below, I think Ava wants to be a fish. She would put her hand in the water then suck the water off her hand. Is that okay in the pool? I sure hope so, she had a great time.

Ava is yelling in this clip. Sometimes I call her her muscle woman routine. She loves to make noises, I can't wait until she can talk.

Jeremy's Graduation

Jeremy has been in Boise the last ten weeks attending the POST academy. He met many new people and had fun, most of the time. He is a lot thinner now. He trained the whole time and can now run five miles. This is a picture of his graduating class, #158. Jeremy is right behind the little boy on the left.Jeremy is accepting his certificate from the judge who presented the oath.

The Barnes Reunion

We had a wonderful time at the Barnes reunion. I think Jeremy had the most fun with the amazing race, pinochle, and Wayne's hover round. Here are some fun pictures.

Ava is hanging out at Aunt Carol's house. She was teething, so she isn't very happy.

These are the Heiskari's, Carol is Raphl's sister. Wayne has the hover round that Jeremy loves so much and Lusina was in charge of the amazing race.

This is Cheryl and Cherie, Joan and Jean, and Emma and Ava. There are three other sets of twins on Jeremy's side of the family.

All in all it was a wonderful weekend.

New stuff...

Ava was hanging out with Aunt Emily, you know laying on the couch.

The girls are trying to take a nap at Grandma Moser's house, but there were many little kids running around and it was a failed attempt.

That Famous Preston Night Rodeo...

We have been having so much fun this weekend. The famous rodeo and carnival time has come again. I just can't believe that it's August already. The girls love being at the parade. I think their favorite thing to watch is the horses. They are good little girls, they are easy to haul around. Jeremy is here to visit this weekend and we love having him here. I have a hot date with him tonight at the rodeo. We will see how long I last with all the dust and horses. I don't think he thinks it's very fun to be on a date with a sneezer that has a runny nose. Good thing we are married, and he has to love me. I hope to figure out how to post pictures. This whole blog thing is still growing on me. later.
